MOT's

At Solo Automotive we a have fully equipped MOT testing station with the very latest emissions testing computer for 2009 which meets the current Vehicle Inspectorate requirements.

Vehicles are initially checked on our four post ramp for any defects likely to be hazardous whilst the car is being driven. Provided the vehicle brakes are visually OK the car will then be placed on a brake tester, this will determine the efficiency of the braking system. A final check is made on the vehicle emissions to ensure the vehicle gases that are expelled fall within acceptable limits.

Below is a list of some of the items we will check. Most cars sail through without a problem, however should your car Mot fail we have the facilities to repair your car quickly and at a fair price
